CCC Ministry Services
- ADVOCATE for church or faith-based organization throughout planning, design and construction processes.
- Assist with initial MASTER PLANNING for building needs to facilitate ministries.
- MENTOR during architect, contractor and capital campaign consultant selection.
- Provide COUNSEL and guidance during planning and design to combine church ministry use with construction perspectives.
- LIASON between church and design / construction team.
- INDEPENDENT ADVISOR to churches and faith-based boards, without connection to any internal factions or external entities.
- As Certified Lay Speaker in the United Methodist Church, trained and experienced to PREACH during worship to assist and motivate congregations in identifying with the biblical experience of building to grow God's kingdom, coupled with Christian stewardship and our spiritual need to give.
- Intensive REVIEW of all drawings, specifications and construction documents prior to bidding to improve quality, minimize changes in scope, and promote good stewardship.
- Act as CHURCH REPRESENTATIVE for frequent site visits during construction, and attend bi-weekly contractor job meetings.
- Provide knowledgeable CONSTRUCTION OVERSIGHT on behalf of the church, so pastors and staff can maintain their focus on ministry instead of construction.
- Closely MONITOR SCHEDULES & BUDGETS.
- EVALUATE and resolve CHANGE ORDERS.
- Assist in PROBLEM RESOLUTION during design and construction.
- Review material submittals to ENSURE VALUE and CONSISTENCY with contract documents.
- MAINTAIN AS-BUILT set of construction DRAWINGS to support future operations, maintenance and growth.
